Intensive therapy sessions for healing using traditional talk therapy or Neurofeedback. These services are offered in four formats:
- Six-hour, Weekday Talk Intensive
- Six-hour, Weekday Neurofeedback Intensive
- 3-day, Weekday Neurofeedback Intensive
- 3-day, Weekend Neurofeedback Intensive
The struggle is real. You notice the creeping anxiety that builds up throughout the day, the tension in your neck and shoulders, the headaches, and the lingering feeling that you’re never going to get past this, whatever this is. You’ve been thinking about starting therapy for a while now, but the idea of adding one more thing into your schedule is just too overwhelming. So here you are, another day of carrying around the burden of your past, while you suffocate under its weight.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
While traditional talk therapy can be useful, in some cases, it’s just not enough. The typical offering of 1 hour a week, for months or even years, isn’t always the best option for many individuals. Maybe you just don’t have the time to commit to weekly hourly sessions. Maybe you don’t want to tiptoe around your issues. Maybe you don’t even want to talk through it, but you do want to do something about it. This is where intensive therapy can step in and provide you with a way to hit the issue at it’s core, so you can see quicker results.
What if you could do months of work in a handful of hours?
What if you could feel the results of a more peaceful mind in a matter of minutes?
If you could walk into a session, knowing the time and material has been curated to your specific needs, how would you feel? What if you could actually learn and practice the skills necessary to manage your symptoms, actually work on your brain to establish new neural pathways to implement the skills and leave the session knowing you made progress. What if you worked on your issues, rather than just talked about them?
With Intensive Therapy, there’s no waste of time, there’s no rush, there’s no distraction…just a dedicated block of time with an experienced, licensed clinician who’s only focus is you. Intensive Therapy is about change, not support, so the approach is fundamentally different from traditional therapy. Intensive therapy can be used in conjunction with the therapy you receive from your regular therapist or as a stand-alone practice, whatever works best for you.

How to know if intensive therapy is appropriate for you?
- You want to dive headfirst into your healing
- You’ve been doing therapy for a while and aren’t seeing the progress you’d like
- You aren’t able to commit an hour each week for the next few years
- You don’t like the hassle of incorporating an hour or so into your already packed schedule each week
- You don’t like the idea of insurance companies dictating your progress and your healing
So how does intensive therapy work?
- Meet for a 90-min assessment to determine an intensive is the best fit for you and where you are in your healing
- Schedule your intensive based on your preference
- Work through your pre-intensive workbook
- Meet for your intensive
- Meet for your 90-minute after-care session to assess your progress and needs
Who is not a good fit for intensive therapy work?
- You are actively dependent on alcohol or drugs to numb pain
- You are unable to manage suicidal thoughts on a daily or weekly basis
- You are unable to take a few hours/days off of work – this is called intensive for a reason, and you will likely need time to process and adjust to how you feel after your sessions.
What I want for you during your intensive:
I want you to have access to therapy in a way that works for you. I want you to be able to dive into your struggles whole-heartedly. I want you to be able to utilize non-traditional therapeutic options to support your healing, and not be limited by insurance companies who don’t know you or your life. I want you to gain peace and healing so you can live your life to the fullest, and not be weighed down by your past. Your past influences who you are, but it does not get to dictate who you are.
